Paint Correction
This depends on which level you’re after. As above there is silver, gold and platinum. The first process in paint correction is clay the paint if needed, remove paint defects by buffing. Then to get the depth and gloss back into the paint we polish it using 1 of several polishing pads and random orbital. The last process is to wax and seal the surface to protect your car from the harsh elements. Buffing and polishing time depends on the condition of the paintwork and the products vary depending on what type of paint you have and the condition of it.
Paint Protection (including new cars)
Paint protection is different to paint correction as the paint is usually good. Most cars are brand new and don’t need to be clayed to get the contaminants off the paint. You can feel the paint and it should be silky smooth like glass. The next process is to polish the car which cuts back the clear paint and brings your paintwork up. It is then sealed with two coats of wax. The last process is finishing the car off with ultimate detailer. The wheels, tyres, outside glass, rubbers, plastic and door jams are also done. This will protect your car for 4 – 8 months depending where your car is kept.
After paint protection has been applied to your car you can come back every 4 – 8 months to get your car re-waxed and this will protect your car again at a fraction of the cost.
